New Names

So I was talking to Sister-in-law yesterday and I asked her about her kids nicknames on her blog. She said they were instead of their real names. It makes sense to me because these blogs are so public and I really didn't want to make my blog a private blog. So all my kids have a new nickname. If you know us, you will know who I am talking about.

Disneyland

Our little crew at breakfast. Yes, I really was there.
How Stephen spent half of the trip.
Daddy and Choo Choo on "It's a Small World".
A rainy day at Disneyland.

More Disneyland

Chooch fell asleep early the first night so Bubba and Daddy got to ride Dumbo.
Daddy and the boys on the carousel.
My little explorers.
Jelly Bean's first carousel ride. She loved it.
Yummy!

At Nana's and Papa's House

Stephen and I got a wild hair while the kids had Spring Break. The 5 oldest were off doing their own thing, so we decided to jump in the car and take a little vacation ourselves. We visited Nana and Papa, then stayed at a Disneyland Hotel for a few days and played with the littles at Disneyland. We had so much fun..

Nana and Choo Choo and the Irvine Park
Bubba loved the "Neighs"!
Sleeping again.
Chooch finally was brave enough to touch the fence.

First Bites

Bean ate her first real food on Valentine's Day. She was a pro right from the beginning. She never even acted like I was trying to poison her with the nasty baby cereal. She just ate it like it she had always done it.

First Haircut

I had to cut Jelly Bean's hair and after seeing these pictures, you will know why. Some people said she looked like Donald Trump. Others thought is was more of a Hitler look. I just couldn't stand the mohawk. T said he almost cried because I cut off her cute curls, but I think it looks so much better now.

So cute!

Random Pictures

I know I have been a flake lately with the pictures. Oh well - this is the best I can do right now. Here are a few catch up pictures.
Bella is such a character. She got her dress wet and didn't want to change. So she just put on her coat and kept working. Cute, funny girl.
Bubba, Rooster, and Choo Choo at the zoo.
Sweet Brothers!
Baby Bean at the zoo. It was a little cold outside.
Fish had a little fun with the bath foam.
Chooch, Hunter, and Bubba.
Don't upset Sunny when she is cooking!

St. George at Christmas Break

This is where we rode all day. It was beautiful and we had so much fun.
T on one of the quads we rented
Choo Choo and Bubba loved running free in the dirt.
Lindsay and Ryan West and their boys with Chooch and Bubba.

Copy Cat

In Rooster's kindergarten class, they read a book about crazy hair so the kids came with crazy hair to school. We loved Lacey's hair so much, we had to do the same.
Even with crazy hair, Rooster is still a poser
She had to add the red streaks.

Blessed by Baby G

Last Sunday, Jelly Bean was blessed. It was a great day and Stephen gave her a beautiful blessing. We had so many friends and family there with us to celebrate little G. We love you all! It was quite a busy day so we only took a few pictures.
Grandma McConkie and baby G. We are so glad she was there with us
Baby G with Mom and Dad. Obviously she doesn't like to be photographed.

Gardner's Village

On Saturday I took the 4 youngest to one of my favorite places, Gardner Village. They loved it. There were witches and pumpkins everywhere. Riley had her face painted and made a witches hat. They all loved the ponies and the petting zoo. Charlie got on the pony without any hesitation, but then Gracie's blanket fell and spooked his pony and he fell off. That was the end of the pony ride for Charlie. Surprisingly, Riley was the only one fearful of the goats in the petting zoo. The boys were basically laying on the goats. It was a lot of fun.

We Have New Neighbors

So the house next to us is for sale. On Friday, this lovely family was looking at it. What do you think?

Halloween Came Early

My friend, Lindsay West, had a Halloween Party on the 17th. A bit early for me, but still fun.
