Charlie and Sam in their favorite places

Sam just loves this little play thing
Charlie is happiest in this swing if he is not being held.

Pie Eating Contest at the West's

Tristan and Jessica competed the first time around. Tristan won this round
Jess is so competitive - she ate another pie in order to win.

Halloween Pictures

Riley was the easiest costume ever. She was a black ballerina.
If anyone knows this costume, they watch star wars way too much. Sage is Bobo Fet.
Steve and I as rival football team players. Notice who has the black eye.
Alex and Kaitie Jowers. I made Alex's costume.

My Little Monkeys

Daddy and the boys
Can you tell who this is. It took me a while to figure it out.
Sam was so cute and so hot.
This is Charlie - sleeping through the party

Halloween Party #1

Here we are heading out to Grandma Bonnie's Halloween party. Steve was absent for the picture because he was still working on putting his costume together.

The boys

They are growing so fast. They are about the same height, but Sam is definitely heavier.

Fall is Beautiful Here

I love the fall. These are the trees in our cul-de-sac. They were amazing this year.

Uncle Mao came to visit

My Princess

Riley had a birthday party that she got to dress up for. She loves being a princess.

More Performances

It seems like this is the time of the year for performances. Alex and Jexxica had piano recitals on Monday. Alex did a duet. They both did a great job. At school, the kids had a "Show what you know" assembly. Sage did a Native American dance, Jess played the recorder and Tristan did a ballroom dance. They were all great.

Performances

Tristan is dancing with a girl named Hannah. They had to chose dance or band - he chose dance.

Getting So Old

Okay, so I got complaints about only posting a picture of Charlie. We took the boys in today to get passport photos. Sam looks like he is about 7 months old. This picture makes him look much older then he really does, but it is so cute.

Bundled Up

I took the babies to Riley's soccer game. It was so cold. Later on in the day, it began to snow for the first time this year. Charlie looked so cute in his hat.

The Red Carpet

This summer Jessican and Sage went to a movie camp. In the week they were there, they filmed a movie. On Saturday, the had their first "movie premiere". They got to walk the red carpet before the showing of their movie at the Jordan Commons. Then we were able to watch their movie in the theatre. It was really cute and they loved it.

Yeehaw!

At Riley's preschool they have a dress up day once a month. Obviously this month was Western Days. Doesn't she make a cute cowgirl?

Don't Shoot!

Sage is a great little soccer player, but I am not sure that goalie is his position. He spends half his time in the goal box with his hands tied up in the net. I am constantly yelling, "Sage, be ready. Get out of the net." Sometimes, even his feet are wrapped up in the net. He is fun to watch on the field because he is all about slide tackling. I think he likes that more then actually kicking the ball. He will probably be a good football player because he loves tackling.

This Can't Be Comfortable

Riley came into my bed last night, not feeling well. She attempted to throw up, but was unsuccessful. So I made her a little bed in my room and got her a bowl just in case. She had a hard time falling back to sleep and ended up putting this bowl on her head. She slept that way the rest of the night. (this was from about 1:00 am until 7:00 am) I guess you can't get any closer to your mouth than this.

The State Fair

Yesterday we took all 7 kids to the state fair. I wish I could post pictures of the wonderful event, but then I would be lying. The next time you begin to feel that your life is a mess, pack your family into the car and head to the State Fair. I don't care which state you go to, I am afraid they will all be the same. There are so many strange people there, I could spend my whole night people watching. That is of course if I wasn't so busy trying to protect my little babies from the dust storm caused by thousands of feet shuffling through the dirt and straw. After about an hour, I had had enough and packed the babies, Alex and I into the car and went home. I left Steve to fend for himself with Jessica, Sage, Riley, and Tristan. I think it will be a long time before I even consider heading back there.

Menacing!

I told Tristan to look mean. Are you scared? He didn't pull off a mean face very well. He is the second tallest one out there so I think he looks intimidating, but he certainly doesn't look so scary here. T is doing great in football. He seems to enjoy it now as long as he doesn't have to run. They won this game. The kid in the background looks like he is doing some kind of ballet move.

At Another Soccer Game

These babies are going to know their sports. They attend 3 soccer games a week, football practice, and football games. Sam loves to just lay on a blankent and watch. He is such a sweet baby. I think he is going to be my brown eyed boy. His eyes melt my heart. We are still not sure what color his hair will be. I think it will be blond for a while, but maybe not for always.

My Little Red Head

Charlie is such a happy little baby. He is always smiling. I can not say the same thing about sleeping. He has chosen his favorite place to sleep-my arms. That doesn't work so well. I must say that he slept a full 7 hours last night, from 10:00 to after 5:00am. Hip Hip Hooray! I couldn't believe it.

And can you believe this red hair. I love it!

One BIG Happy Fanily

On Sunday, September 2nd, we blessed Charlie and Sam. Steve gave both his boys beautiful blessings. We we very lucky to have so many family members show up to support our family. We are very fortunate to be a part of such wonderful families. The day turned out to be great.

School Uniforms Rock!

I love uniforms. They take a lot of the stress out of the morning. Besides, don't they look so cute?

Back to School

I have been so excited for school to start. It has been a long summer and I am ready for a change of seasons. I think it also signifies moving on to a new phase in our lives. This summer I spent more time on bedrest then out playing with my kids the way that I am used to. As the twins are getting a little older, I am starting to feel like I am getting back to my old self.

Alex is now in 8th grade, Tristan is in 6th, Jessica is starting 3rd, Sage is in 2nd, and Riley is in her second year of preschool. They were all very excited and oh, so cute.

You taste yummy!

Sam was doing his best to suck on Charlie's head. I loved that they were holding hands. I hope they are always good friends.

Brothers

Sam and Charlie are growing fast. Here they are just a week old.

Sage Turns 7!

July 1st, Sage turned 7. We had yet another swimming party. He requests it every year. He is wearing a piece of the pinata on his head.

Friends Forever

Riley and Sage can be such great friends. I need to refer to this picture when they are at each other's throats.
